Now a museum, this building previously used as a high school was taken over in 1975 by Pol Pot's security forces and used as a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S21) It was a place of torture and pure hell before the prisoners were taken to the Killing Fields where all were murdered in the hands of the Khmer Rouge.
